She is known for her kind, patient and compassionate approach towards clients and their families, working with the intent to help clients find enjoyment and flexibility with food again.
She is experienced in supporting children and adolescents with disabilities achieving optimal nutrition and understands the requirements of the NDIS. Lauryn advocates for the best nutritional support for her clients through the NDIS and believes having a well-rounded supportive team is ideal for clients.
Lauryn aims to move away from weight dominant ideals and focuses on the whole picture of health and nutrition. Lauryn works within the Health at Every Size model and the Non-Diet Approach in her practice. This ensures interventions are individualised and creates long lasting positive food and eating behaviours.
Lauryn is also particularly interested in supporting people with disordered eating, gastrointestinal diseases/symptoms, adults with ARFID, women’s health and disability in nutrition.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes, or relaxing by the beach.
