Optimum Intake are excited to announce that we have expanded our Dietitian services in the Nelson Bay area. Our dietitian, Shannon, had been delivering nutrition services under our Paediatric Dietitian and Adult Dietitian teams within the Nelson Bay and Port Stephens area for the past 12 months. There is a huge local need for dietitian and nutrition services, both in the consulting rooms and as a home visiting option. We have responded to the community needs and have extended our availability with another local dietitian, Holly, who will be joining Shannon from June 2022.
Shannon, one of our Paediatric Dietitians, is available to support children & families with feeding and growth concerns, PLUS she is also a registered NDIS Dietitian and is supporting participants through their NDIS goals. She has gained extensive experience in these areas and able to work collaboratively with clients to deliver practical strategies that can make meaningful changes to an individual and their family. Holly is available to support adults seeking dietitian services. Holly’s nutrition interest areas include:

- Diabetes Management
- Allergies/Intolerances/Gut Health
- Heart Health
- Improving general lifestyle & eating habits
We have our books open with appointments available for both Paediatric and Adult Dietitian Services in the Port Stephens and Nelson Bay areas. Our clinic rooms are located at 5/33 Stockton St, Nelson Bay NSW 2315, where we work alongside Echo Speech.
